Claim– theft

 Imagine this….. We as your agents go to see the tenant about the arrears they have and find the

property abandoned! (Nothing unusual in that you say!)

But when we gain access to the property we find the kitchen bench missing,

the laundry sink and cupboard missing, the bathroom vanity missing, all of the taps for the various rooms gone as well! Value approx $3000.00

Then there is the loss of rent from arrears, and whilst the property is being reinstated, some 69 days. Value approx $2400.00

The property manager in this case did, and the landlord received payment within two weeks of the claim being finalized.

Fire damage

Imagine this….. The tenant falls asleep and a pot catches on fire on the stove and burns out the kitchen . We receive a call from the fire brigade to say the tenant has had to move out , we are lucky no one got killed

We have an insurance policy offered through Real Landlord Insurance limited , that covers you for loss of rent , if the premises is left untenantable due to malicious damage, There is a prevention from access to the property, if there is an absconding tenant, death of a tenant, there are defaulting tenant payments,Theer is failure to give vacant possession, Where the court rules in faviur of the tenant for tenancy hardship, and that also covers you for malicious damage to the property. An insurance policy that also covers you for damage to other peoples property, death or injury to other people, (limited to $1,000,000) and includes loss or damage of contents.
